KATHLEEN (KAY) RALPH
(Nee Popick)
April 24, 1930 - May 23, 2017
Kay passed away peacefully, in her 87th year, with family by her side at St. Boniface Hospital.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Ralph, her parents, Nellie and Mickeal Popick, sisters, Sophia (Angus) Morrison, Julia (Bill) Gullen, Helen Popick, and Anne (Albie) Smales, brothers, Stan (Norma) Popick, Frank Popick, John Popick and Joe Popick.
This wonderful woman will be sadly missed by her nieces, Jean Popick and Diana Gullen, her nephews, Ken (Kathy) Gullen, Mick (Jacqui) Popick, Bob (Sharon) Popick and Russ Gourluck and her many great-nieces, great-nephews and close friends.
Kay, the youngest of 9, was born near the family homestead at Arena, Saskatchewan on April 24, 1930. On December 4, 1965 she married Jack Ralph and they lived in Winnipeg for all of their married life.
Kay was a much loved and special Aunt to all of her nieces and nephews, a loving sister to her eight siblings and a kind and true friend to many. Her quiet strength, dedication to friends and family, warmth, bright smile, sense of humour, love of life, sincerity, and positive attitude will continue to live on in the memories of all who were fortunate enough to have her in their lives.
The family invites you to join them for a celebration of life and reception on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 1:30 pm at Cathedral Manor, 321 Avenue de la Cathedrale in St Boniface.
If you wish, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice.
