Obituary of JAMES MCFARLANE
James McFarlane
On August 8th, 2012 at Seven Oaks Hospital. James McFarlane passed away peacefully. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle.
James is survived by daughters, Barb, Liz, Judy, Helen (Gerry), Connie & Cathy; grandchildren, Dylan (Tara), Jason, Jordan (Amber), Allison, Matthew, Stefanie, Johnathan, Justin, Christopher, Dolly, Anne, Danah and Darla; great grandchildren, Taylor, Alyssa, Narin, Nevaeh and Nathaniel; sisters, Anna (Cliff, dads best buddy), Marian, Mary (John) and many nieces and nephews. James will also be remembered by Tim Antonius, John Maas, Wayne Seidler, John Johnston and Allan Pitchard. He was predeceased by his loving wife Anne; parents; brother, John and sister, Helen.
Dad worked at the post office for 33 years as a postal courier. He had many hobbies such as computers, electronics, CB radios, crossword puzzles and gardening. Dad was always learning something new.
The family would like to thank Seven Oaks Hospital and a special thank you to Bruce Lousley who did so much for dad.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, August 14 at 6:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Inkster followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations in James’s memory may be made to Salvation Army.
