Obituary of DENNIS LEE LAMIRANDE
DENNIS LEE LAMIRANDE
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our father, Dennis Lee Lamirande at the age of 56 years. On Sunday, July 9, 2017 he took his last breath with his family by his side. The Creator took him home after a courageous fight with cancer.
Dennis will be remembered by his wife Tina; four sons, Robert (Camille), Jade (Mandy) Craig and Trent; three daughters, Cheryl (Dennis), Emerald (Tyson) and Jasmine. As well as, brothers, Willard (Gloria), Kenny, Leslie; and sisters, Sandy and Tammy. Dennis will also be missed by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many friends from work and all over Manitoba. He was predeceased by his parents, John Lamirande and Mary Lena Conn (Ferland); brother Larry Lamirande; and sisters, Dorothy and Mary Conn Beach.
Dennis was born in Dauphin, MB on March 14, 1961 and grew up in Winnipeg where he became one of the Winnipeg Jets greatest fans.
Our beloved father and husband was a very hard working, kind hearted, handsome, soft spoken, funny man who’s selfless nature and compassionate persona had captured the hearts of those he came across.
Prayers will be held Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. A funeral service will take place Friday, July 14 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service also at Cropo Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery.
Our Daddy will be forever missed!
