YVONNE BARNETT

July 27, 1937 – July 13, 2017

On the morning of July 13, 2017, our wonderful, loving Mom (Nan) went to be with our Dad (Papa).

She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her six children: Dawn (Brad), Scott (Penny), Lance (Sharon), Colleen (Claude), Shawn, Tracy (Michael) and her 19 grandchildren, Christopher, Erin (Milan), Ryan (Kasia), Jaclyn (Darek), Marcie (Dave), Travis (Nena), Jaimie, Jessica, Jodie, Khyber, Carter, Sara, Kaitlynn, Ashley, Kristal (Alan), Nicole (Spencer), Donavan, Patrick and Leah, 4 great grandchildren, Isaiah, Dylan, Eoin and Kuba, as well as her extended family.

Mom had been an active member of  St. Anthony’s Leisure Group,  the Red Hat Ladies, and her Senior’s Club. Mom was a social butterfly who loved to play cards, eat out and listen to music. Her smile could make you laugh and her arms were always open to offer a hug. Her family meant everything to her and we know she’ll be there to offer a loving embrace when our time comes.

We thank the staff at St. Joseph’s Residence, as well as the wonderful ER and Palliative Care staff at Seven Oaks Hospital. The support and care you gave to our Mom and us during this difficult time was exceptional. An extra special thank-you to Lenora, Lisa and Andrew.

Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 18 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua, 250 Burrin Ave. A private family interment will take place.

Mom, we’ll miss your smile, your voice and your loving heart. Hope we make you proud. We thank God everyday that He chose you to be our Mom.
