Obituary of JUDITH DE MEDEIROS
JUDITH DE MEDEIROS
Peacefully, on Friday, July 21, 2017, Judith passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 85 years.
Judith is predeceased by her husband Joao De Medeiros; sister Liduina; and brother Jose. She is survived by her daughters, Maria Idalina (Tony) and Maria de Lurdes (Georges); grandchildren, Andre (Natasha), Veronica, Christopher (Jana), Samuel (Ana), Michel; great-grandchildren, Cebastian, Teia, Selene and Colton; brother Antonio (Maria Jose); sisters, Maria Rosa (Viriato), Elvira (Jose), Eugenia, Laudalina; nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
Judith loved to cook and tend to her garden. Her family meant the world to her especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
“She will be sadly missed by all her
family and friends.”
We did not know that morning
What sorrow the day would bring,
The bitter grief, the shock severe
To part with one we loved so dear.
You bid no one a last farewell,
No chance to say goodbye,
You were gone before we knew it,
And God only knows why.
We pray that when you left us,
That you knew how much we cared,
Today, tomorrow, our whole lives through,
We will always love and cherish memories of you.
We hold you close within our hearts,
And there you will remain,
To walk with us throughout our lives
Until we meet again.
Prayers will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Parish, 181 Austin Street N., with interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
