Obituary of EDWARD NOVAK
EDWARD NOVAK
On August 10, 2017, shortly after his 63rd birthday, Edward passed away.
Eddie spent all of his working life at the Winnipeg post-office where he was well loved by all his co-workers. Though he loved his work, he retired early, due to health problems. Through all his struggles, he remained a very gentle soul, cheerful, optimistic and friendly toward everyone he met. Ed had a passion for the daily news and puzzles.
Ed was pre-deceased by his brother, Kenneth, mother Katherine, father Adolph and cousin Mervin. He leaves to mourn many family members, including his aunt, Susan, his cousins Daniel, Eleanor (Donald), Judy (Lynne), Mary (George) and Thomas, and his friends Gerry and Mike who faithfully looked after him during the last 5 years, through his time of failing health.
Service will be held on Tuesday, August 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel at 1442 Main Street. Ash Interment will be held on Wednesday, August 16, at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main St.
