To two of my oldest and dearest friends. Your Mom was a true blessing, a best friend and loving parent to you both. She was always on your side and helped to guide you as best as she could. May God give you his peace and comfort at this time of loss and mourning.
One of my funniest memories of your Mom was when we had a sleepover at your house on Hart Ave and I was sleeping on the couch. Suddenly there was a light shining from the kitchen in the middle of the night and it was your mom having a midnight snack - without her false teeth! We both laughed.
Another memory is of her walking down the back lane after supper and calling up to my bedroom window (because she knew you were there) " Heather (or Marcella) come drink your milk!!!" You girls never did drink your milk. :)
Your mom was always nice to us and once when we spotted her at Tim Horton's on Henderson Hwy and we said hello she was so happy to see us she started crying.
We will miss and always think fondly of her.
