Obituary of RICHARD A. PATAPOW
Richard A. Patapow
1955 – 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Father and Grandfather, Richard Patapow. Peacefully, on Saturday September 30, at the age of 62, Richard was set free.
Richard will be deeply missed by his family; his son Rick (Ealisha) Patapow, his daughter Michelle (Stephen) Towle, brother Leonard “Buck”, nephews Dan Smiley and Braydon Patapow, niece Jackie Patapow, and all of his grandchildren, A.J., Madison, Matthew, Kaitlyn and Carley.
Richard was predeceased by his mother Jaqueline, father Alexander, and his sister Linda.
The family would like to thank all of Richard’s friends and co-workers for their support and help in this difficult time. Also our gratitude to the wonderful staff on the 3rd floor at Concordia Hospital for the excellent care that Richard received.
A memorial service for Richard will be held on Tuesday October 10 at 11 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with a celebration of life to follow the service at another location. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation on behalf of Richard can be made to a charity of choice.
