Obituary of OLGA PERCHALIUK
Olga Perchaliuk (nee PICKLYK)
August 2, 1933 – October 25, 2017
It is with a heavy heart that I announce the sudden and unexpected passing of my beloved wife Olga at the age of 84 years at Seven Oaks Hospital on October 25, 2017.
Olga leaves to mourn her loving husband John, 5 brothers, 7 sisters, and numerous inlaws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Nellie and Mike, brother Paul, and sister Willa.
Olga was born in Caliento, MB. The second eldest of 15 children, she worked hard and was a tremendous help to both her parents and siblings. Olga met her husband John in 1955 at a dance hall in Vita MB and they were married in 1957. They shared a beautiful life together for 60 years; enjoying camping, going to music festivals, and creating lovely flower and vegetable gardens. A blessed angel to others, Olga was always there to assist those in need, nurture them with her love and delicious cooking, and celebrate their special events. Everyone whose lives were touched by her generous spirit and kindness truly adored her and will miss her dearly.
A service will be held to honor Olga’s life on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 10 am at Cropo Funeral Chapel at 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow at Green Acres Cemetery.
