ANTONIO AMORIM DA COSTA
It is with deep sadness that the family of Antonio Amorim Da Costa announces his passing. Our dear beloved husband, father, brother and uncle, passed away at his residence at the age of 67 on Thursday December 21, 2017.
Antonio was born on April 19, 1950 in Minho Portugal and immigrated to Canada in 1976 where he met his future wife, Natalia. Antonio was predeceased by his parents Ana Maria Amorim and Domingos Da Costa, brothers Gabriel and Joáo as well as brothers in-laws José, Alfredo and Carlos.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 39 years, Natalia and his children Ana (Rob), Melissa (Chris), Carlos; his siblings Maria, José (Donatilde), Manuel (Barbara), Rosa (Faustino), Adelaide (Alberto), Agostinho (Eduarda), his brother in-law Tony, his nieces Odette, Gina and Paula; nephew Victor all of Winnipeg as well as many other nieces and nephews throughout Europe and the US. As well as his godson Andrew. He was a loving, kind, hard-working man with a great sense of humor and a devout Catholic who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Prayers will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
