Obituary of WILLIAM HUTCHINSON
WILLIAM HUTCHINSON
March 4, 1925 – August 29, 2012
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our Dad, Husband, Grandpa, and Great Grandpa on Wednesday, August 29, 2012.
William has left to mourn him his wife of 67 years Nancy Hutchinson (Munford), his 4 children, Irene, Janis, Gary (Glenda), and Glenn, brother Alan (Verna) and sister Eleanor. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren – Brad (Belinda), Darrin (Marlie), Lori, Jody (Thomas), Geoff, and Amanda (Nathan), and 10 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his mother Ida Hutchinson (O’Blenis) and father John Garten Hutchinson
Dad was born in Winnipeg, attended Daniel Mac High School. He joined the RCAF at 17 and served in England during WWII where he met and married his wife Nancy. Dad worked 35 years at the Winnipeg Tribune, and after its closure he worked 7 years with Revenue Canada.
The family would like to thank the staff of CancerCare Manitoba and the wonderful caring staff at the Riverview Health Centre.
A private family interment will be held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolences at www.cropo.ca.
