ALAN JAMES MCCANN

It’s with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Alan James McCann March 1, 2018 in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 51 years old. Beloved husband of Carol Ann Korolyk for 22 years.

He is survived by Carol Ann Korolyk, (son) Johnathon McCann, (son) David Fotherby, (Daughter) Michelle Fotherby, (Father) Bernard McCann, (Mother) Phyllis McCann, (Brother) Gerard McCann (Michelle), (Sister) Arlene McCann-Solberg (Wayne), grandchildren Donavin and Ciara, nephews Justin (Pam), Anthony (Jen), Matthew (Haley), Brayden (Erin), Cameron, Nieces Alexa, Danni and Great Niece Akira and extended family and friends.

Alan was an active member of The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 30. His favourite pleasure was working on vehicles and spending time, with his family and friends. He was the best husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. He would do anything for his family and friends! He would give u the shirt off his back if, u needed it and would never ask for anything in return. Alan loved animals. He will be missed by all, including who he called their baby daughter “Monday”, as well as Scrappy, Torque, Missy, Tommy, Pepper and Patrick!! Uncle Alan always had the treats!!! 

Please join us for his celebration of life on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at 1:30 p.m., reception and light lunch to follow at West Kildonan Legion, Branch 30, 1748 Main Street in the Banquet Hall.
