DANIEL GROCHOLSKI

It is with deepest sympathy that we bid farewell to our beloved Danny on March 26, 2018 in Winnipeg, MB.

Danny was born in Winnipeg on December 26, 1945.  Danny had many challenges in life as his parents passed away when he was young.  His grandparents, Rose and John Grocholski along with his Auntie Mary raised him.  Danny went to work with CP Rail as an overhead waiter.  While on down time from the railway, he would travel to Mexico.  This career discovered his love of travel.  He went onto explore Canada by living in Montreal for a number of years and Peachland, BC for a number of years as well.  Finally ending up back in Winnipeg where he worked as a baker for a number of years.  Danny was very talented as he was fluent in four languages, English, French, Ukrainian and Polish.

In his younger years, Danny had fun getting into mischief with his friends.  He enjoyed playing sports and was an avid football player.  He also enjoyed his music playing guitar and strumming on the banjo.

Danny was predeceased by his wife Gloria (Dawn) Grocholski on December 22^nd, 2016.  Danny is survived by his loving family. 

He will leave a huge void in our lives, but he will be forever in our hearts.

A private family funeral service was held on April 10, 2018 at Cropo Funeral Chapel.
