Obituary of ANTON ROMANYSHYN
ANTON (TONY ROMAN) ROMANYSHYN
With hearts filled with sadness we announce Tony’s passing on August 29, 2012 at the Seven Oaks Hospital.
Tony was born in Fraserwood, MB on June 30, 1945. He was predeceased by his parents Anne and Fred and brother-in-law Arnold Nyznik.
He leaves his sister Zennie, brothers Walter (Miranda), David (Penney) and niece Ariana (Jon, Gina) to remember him.
Tony will always be remembered for his musical talent as a gifted guitar player, singer and as a founding member of the D-Drifters.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to Diabetes or Cancer Research, Winnipeg Humane Society or a charity of choice.
A sincere Thank You from the family to the Home Care team, Dr.Ross, Dr. Bzura, the nursing team from Seven Oaks Hospital and to friend Ken for their care and kindness shown to Tony and his family at this time.
There will be a "Celebration of his Life" on Wednesday, September 12, 7:00 p.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
