JUNE HILL

It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden, but peaceful passing of June Hill, of Winnipeg on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the age of 83 years.

She was predeceased by her mother Bertha & father Michael Railian as well as her beloved husband Nick of 48 years in 2003.

June is survived by her sons Andy (Debbie), Nick (Sandy), Scott (Sandra), & daughter Melanee (Peter); grandchildren Ryan, Tyler (Christine), Breanne, Georgia, Shelby, Ethan, Stephanie, Scotty & great grandson Benjamin.

She had a heart of gold who continually put others ahead of herself unconditionally. Her smile would light up a room and everyone enjoyed her sense of humour. She loved to read, do crossword puzzles and having family get togethers. June had a passion for many sports especially the Winnipeg Jets & Blue Bombers.

She spent a lot of quality time at the cottage in Grand Beach playing tennis, and spending time with family and friends. She never could do enough for her kids, whether it was going to their sporting events, coaching hockey or volunteering at the local community club or school.

The Family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all the staff at the River East Personal Care Home.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 30 at John Black United Church, 898 Henderson Hwy at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
