Obituary of DENNIS ALLAN VALENTINE
DENNIS ALLAN VALENTINE
After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Dennis on May 27, 2018 at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 53.
He was predeceased by his father Gary Valentine; step father Eugene Roscoe; step son Tyler Gillis.
Dennis is survived by his mother Ellen; beloved wife Michele Guillemette; her son Sebastian (Cy); grandchildren Lorenzo and Serayah; daughter Janelle; sisters Donna, Peggy (Al), Rene; brother Dean (Stewart); brother-in-law Roger; numerous nephews and nieces; Eugene’s children Nick, Rob, Val and their families.
Dennis enjoyed watching hockey and football-his favourite team was Saskatchewan Roughriders; fishing, walking and taking his dog Baby for rides. He spent time visiting with friends and working on upgrading his house.
He was very creative with his hands, restoring his ‘67 Chevy short box, Paddle van and Suburban.
Dennis worked at Arne’s Welding for 18 years. He also worked at Perfanick Trucking then finally at Carlson’s Fibreglass, Sandblasting and Painting.
Dennis was a free spirit and lived life to the fullest.
A Celebration of Dennis’s Life will be held on Saturday, June 2 at 1:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
