To my dear family. The loss of our wonderful Patience is a loss that is and will be felt for a long time. Take solace in the fact that she is now one of god's special Angel's taken to his side to watch over and protect us from above. Her love will always be with us, we will find it in a simple smile from those she loved and helped while she walked amongst us. We will feel it every day when we think of her, when we remember all she did for all of us.
I wrote this in remembrance of my dear Patience:
I live in the moment that I met you
Our eye's met and suddenly I knew
The love and acceptance I see there.
Will keep me where ever I may roam.
You're different but some how familiar
I feel like we've met somewhere before
The touch of your hand will sustain me
And guide me down lifes bumpy roads.
Wisdom and goodness surround you
Your aura a beacon of true love
Patience, understanding and acceptance
Your qualities, a gift from up above
My eyes close and suddenly i feel you
So close yet so very far away
i just want to reach out and touch you
Make all of the distance fade to grey
My heart breaks with each passing moment
All alone in this world without your love
I draw on a lifetime of memories
And look upon the faces you so loved.
In my heart you will live on forever,
In my mind you've never gone far.
You exist not just in a moment,
But forever alive in our hearts.
