Obituary of EILEEN FAYE KAFKA-WILSON
EILEEN FAYE KAFKA-WILSON
February 13, 1969 – August 6, 2018
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend Eileen after a courageous four-year battle with cancer.
Eileen will be deeply missed by her husband Kevin; precious daughter Hailey; mom and dad Tyrone and Shirley Kafka; brother Kelly (Colleen); her beloved four-legged companion Hunter; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
We are comforted knowing that she is being reunited with her grandparents Thomas and Eileen (Dorothy) Bates and Carl and Cecielia Kafka along with her fur babies Shadow, Sugar, Simba and Tiger.
Eileen never shied away from a challenge and lived her life to the fullest. She loved spending time camping at the lake, taking pictures of sunsets, and building “G.I. Joe” fires. She enjoyed a spiritual connection with nature and all living things.
Kevin and Hailey would like to acknowledge the doctors, nurses and support staff at CancerCare Manitoba as well as HSC Women’s Hospital, 5th floor and especially the care and compassion of her Nurse Practitioner, Christa. We are forever grateful for the love and support of Eileen’s best friend, Carla.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 14 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
Her family asks that you consider making a donation in Eileen’s honour to Manitoba Mutts in lieu of flowers.
