Obituary of EUGENIA WILKOWSKI
EUGENIA WILKOWSKI
Suddenly on Monday, September 3, Eugenia passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital.
She will always be remembered for her devotion to family. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, and reading.
Eugenia was born on May 14, 1925 in Drazno, present-day Belarus and at 15 was exiled with her family to Siberia. Later on, many journeys awaited her through refugee camps in Iran, India, East Africa, and finally to England where she met our father. Both immigrated to Canada in 1952 where they raised their family.
She is survived by her two sons, Edward (Linda) and Richard, and grandsons, Randy and Kris and relatives here and abroad.
She was predeceased by her mother, husband, and brothers.
The family thanks the staff at Holy Family Home for their wonderful care for several years.
A private family service was held on Friday, at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, a quiet prayer in Eugenia’s memory would be appreciated.
