Obituary of FRANCIS GIL SAMUEL LASAO
Francis Gil SamAuel Lasao
Francis Gil Samauel Lasao, 15, of Winnipeg, died on January 5, 2019 in Edmonton, as a result of severe pulmonary hypertension. He was born September 5, 2003 in Binan, Laguna Philippines, the son of Luben and Shiela (Bares) Lasao. He attended Child Formation Centre, Robertson Elementary, Andrew Mynarski V.C. Middle High and lastly, Sisler High School.
Francis was a member of the A.M.V.C. school band and had enjoyed music through out his life by singing and playing the flute. He enjoyed playing basketball and trivia games with his friends and family. His hobby was playing video games on his computer while having his pet bird by his side. He loved taking care of his plants, fishes, dogs, cat and bird. Francis dreamt of becoming a farmer and a biologist to take care of all kinds of animals and plants.
Francis is survived by his parents, Luben and Shiela; his older brother Elijah and his younger sister Gabrielle, both at home. He also leaves many friends and family who will greatly miss him.
The viewing will take place on Friday at 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel with a prayer service starting at 7:30 p.m. The funeral mass is on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Cantius Church.
