Obituary of MARTHA SEMCHUK
Martha Semchuk
October 19, 1933 – February 17, 2019
It is with the deepest sorrow that the family announces the passing of Martha at the St. Boniface Hospital due to a stroke.
She was predeceased by her parents John and Nellie (Krisko) Nowosad and her husband Emil Semchuk.
She leaves to mourn her sister Lena Pichlyk (husband Edward) of Calgary; her children: Donna Kamenz of Winnipeg, Deborah Semchuk (husband William Turner) of Deep River, ON, Alan Semchuk (wife Nancy) of Dauphin, and Rosalind Semchuk of Calgary; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Prayers and visitation will be said on Friday, March 1 at 7:00 P.M. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Parish, 505 Watt St., corner of Watt & Munroe. Divine Liturgy to be celebrated on Saturday, March 2 at 10:00 A.M., also at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Parish.
For those wishing to make a donation in Martha's memory, contributions can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or in Martha's name to the Lubov SSMI Foundation.
