Obituary of PATRICIA (PAT) LYNNE ALEXANDER
Patricia (Pat) Lynne Alexander
(Chaykowski)
It is with deep regret that we announce the sudden passing of Patricia “Pat” Lynne Alexander (nee Chaykowski) on February 19, 2019 at the age of 65 years. Pat leaves to mourn her three children, Melissa (Brian), James and Ian.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sister, brothers, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Pat will also be remembered with fondness by her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Jack and her parents Edward and Dorothy.
Pat was born on February 21, 1953 in Winnipeg where she lived her whole life. After the birth of her youngest, she returned to the workforce as a Sales Associate with Zellers where she worked until retirement.
Pat took great pride in her home and her yard definitely showed it as it garnered some many compliments. Family and friends were always important to Pat and she was always there to offer any help that was needed and it was not unusual to have her send a care package home with anyone who visited. Baking was also a passion of Pat’s and no matter what the occasion she was always quick to offer to bake, especially her cheesecake, and would never go empty handed if she felt a dessert was required.
There will be a celebration of life on Thursday, February 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to Siloam Mission or Winnipeg Harvest.
