Obituary of ZENA BOHONOS
ZINOVIA (ZENA) BOHONOS
The family announces the passing of Zena on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at the age of 94 years. She was born and educated in Winnipeg where spent her whole life. Zena worked as an insurance underwriter for forty years, retiring in 1990. She was a longtime member of the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral and also a life time member of the Ladies Auxiliary (UWAC) and Museum.
She leaves to mourn, her brother John (Roslyn) Bohonos of Edmonton, Alberta, and sister-in-law Helena Bohonos of Winnipeg; niece Julie Seibt of Canmore, Alberta, nephews Andrew (Jackie) Bohonos and David (Costa) Bohonos of Edmonton; and nephews Walter (Diane) Saranchuk, Paul (Marguerite) Saranchuk, and Peter Bohonos of Winnipeg as well as niece-in-law Illonna Bohonos of Winnipeg and many great/grand nephews and nieces.
Zena was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary (nee Buchkowsky) Bohonos, brothers Jaroslaw, Walter, William and Nestor; sisters Helen Bohonos, Olga Saranchuk and nephew B. William Bohonos.

Funeral Rite will be celebrated on Monday, March 18, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., at the Cathedral, 1175 Main Street. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
