Obituary of NORMAN ALLAN LIEBRECHT
Norman Allan Liebrecht
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norman Allan Liebrecht on March 25 2019 .
Norman passed away peacefully with family at his side at the age of 84 at the Selkirk regional health centre.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years June, brothers Jack, Fred, Eric, Eddy, and Kenny, sisters Mary, Irene and Elsie, and sister in law Eleanor.
He leaves to mourn his brother Bob, brother in law Lloyd (Elaine), children Marilyn (Ed), David (Kim), Susan (Peter), Jimmy (Sally) and Danny (Pat) and grandchildren Troy (Tamarah), Claude, Candace, Dawn, Robyn, Arleen, Kristy ( Guy), Myles, Keri, Tyler (Christina), and Trevor. He also leaves 24 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Norman was born May 5th 1934 and raised in Winnipeg where he married the love of his life June Hazel Coslet Thomas. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and enjoyed spending time with immediate and extended family at many family gatherings.
He worked at many different trades over the years, until he secured a job with Manitoba housing as a caretaker in the Maples where he worked until retirement. Over the years Norman made many friends and became a role model for a lot of kids in the community.
As per his wishes Norman will be cremated. No service will be held, a private family interment will take place at a later date.
