Linda Marie Paul

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Linda Marie Paul on March 30, 2019 at Concordia Hospital at the age of 58.

She is predeceased by her Father Ernest Paul.

Linda is survived by Daughters Fawn Brisson, Bryann Allan, Mother Roma, Sisters Anne (Susie), Debbie and Claudette. Nieces Jennifer Davidson, Stephanie (Garth), Petrachek, Great Niece Carmen, Grandsons Dylan and Cody, and her constant companion, Brandy. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Linda was born in Winnipeg Manitoba on June 18, 1960. She was the second of four daughters born to Ernie and Roma Paul. Linda grew up in the North Point Douglas area of Winnipeg with her family. She embraced Winnipeg as her home, where she went to school, worked and made life-long friends. Linda and her “sissy’s” were a force to be reckoned with, if you crossed one, you had the others to deal with. Linda’s work career spanned over 29 years at Superstore on Gateway Road.

In 1983, Linda gave birth to her eldest daughter, Fawn. Their family was complete in 1999 when her second daughter, Bryann, was born.

One of Linda’s favorite traditions was going to CountryFest in Dauphin, she shared this event with her good friend, Swanee. The cowgirls made the trip for over 16 years.

Linda was quick witted and enjoyed sharing jokes and stories on social media with her friends and family.

The greatest joy for Linda was spending time with her grandsons, Dylan and Cody. They were the apple of her eyes.

Linda will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Her strength and generosity will continue to inspire us all.

The family would like to thank the staff in the Compassionate Care Unit at the Concordia Hospital for their support and care of Linda in her final days. Thank you to Dr. Johnson and special thanks to nurse Eilleen.

A service will be held on Friday, April 5 at 3:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Compassionate Care Unit at Concordia Hospital in Linda’s name.
