KIMBERLY REMPEL

March 8, 1958 – June 15, 2019

It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Kimberly on June 15, 2019 at the Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 61.

Kimberly will be lovingly remembered by her husband Al, her children Jasen and Sarah and step children Tarrant (Kathy and children Madi and Kenzie), Desi (Darryl and children Jari and Miikka) and Derek, five sisters Pamela, Donna, Debbie, Tanis, and Tracy, one brother Gary and father Gerald, many sisters in law and brothers in law, and Al’s parents dad & mom, Bill & Tina Rempel.  She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews and our extended family at Cedar Lake Lodge.

Kimberly loved to travel to warm places like the Caribbean and Mexico; her happy place was Merritt Island Florida where she and Al spent eight winters at their home there.  She loved to cruise; she had her “happy music” – Calypso/Caribbean, Cruise Ship Music.  Kimberly enjoyed history and loved gemstones of all kinds.

Kimberly and Al were partners at Cedar Lake Lodge since 1997; they worked on the island, lived on an island in Florida, and were married on an island….must be something to that!

A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 1800 Day Street in Transcona.
