ANIKA ROSE IZZARD

On June 18, 2019, Anika Rose Izzard passed away at 19 months of age at the Children’s Hospital, PICU.

Anika was a beautiful daughter to Darci Lee Tessier (mother) and Alexander M. Izzard (father). Born November 9, 2017, she was sibling to Kori Lisa Dack (sister) and had loving grandparents Joanne C. Izzard (grandmother) and Frank Grande (grandfather) on her father’s side, Lisa Tessier (grandmother now deceased) and Dennis Tessier (grandfather), Daniel Tessier (uncle) and Kathleen Tessier (auntie) on her mother’s side. She was also loved by her Godmother Terri Komarniski and Godfather Micheal Izzard (uncle)

Anika Rose lived a short but happy life. She was diagnosed with a rare disease that was the cause of her passing. Though her time with us was short, Anika lived a happy life with her loving family and friends. She would love to go on walks with daddy and take naps with mommy. She loved to be outside and watch her sister run. Hugs and kisses were her favourite of all, but she really loved storytime with her Godmother Terri. She also enjoyed the Zoo but Grandma’s house (Joanne) was her most favourite place to go. She was a best friend to her teddy bear named Fuzzy Cat who was always there when she needed him. Her most favourite person was Barney the Purple Dinosaur but Daddy was a very close second.

We will always love you Anika Rose, you will be forever in our hearts.

Please be with us on her Day of Celebration on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. All are welcome to attend in support of the Izzard and Tessier family. Anika will be laid with her Grandmother at her home in Garden of Memories, Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
