Dear Ihor and family. I was so sad to recently hear about Lorraine. I was an old school friend. I lived down Royal Avenue from Lorraine and she would call on me to walk to school together. I remember her Mom making the best perogies I have ever had. May peace be with you. Val Sanders (Hardy)

My deepest condolences to Ihor, Alex and Dani. Your mom was an angel in every sense. She was the best friend I could ever have and the most loving, generous, kind, warm and uplifting soul. When I think of Laurie, the first memory that appears is hanging by our pool and just chilling. Ihor would bring some drinks and It was always a wonderful afternoon floating around, Laurie always smiling and laughing. And, boy, did she love my boys. Always asking them how they are, caring for them, playing with them.
I still remember the day like it was yesterday when Laurie came
Over to my new home next door with her golden and brought us a welcome gift and a card with all of your names on it. What was the name of
Your beautiful dog in 2003?? I can’t remember.
Since the day we moved in, Alex and Dani were our boys’ number one babysitters! We must have had them Over 100 times. Our boys couldn’t have had more caring, wonderful, smart girls to help raise them. We love you so much.
In the past year, Laurie did the most incredible, caring, generous thing I could ever have imagined. She helped Gary and I through our separation and Her priority was our children. She always said that she cares so deeply for our boys and wanted us to think of them First and foremost in every decision we made. She gave up 5 evenings of her own time throughout the past year and we absolutely would have been lost without her.
She is truly an angel
Sent from heaven. I love Laurie so much and will miss her forever. My deepest love goes
Out to Ihor and Alex and Dani.

We extend our deepest condolences to Ihor, Alex, Dani and family during this very difficult time. Laurie touched the lives of many people, whether through work or simply strolling the neighbourhood with her four legged friends. We will always treasure the moments spent with Laurie chatting roadside where she always complimented an outdoor project or our boys....because that’s just what she did. Laurie’s kind heart, her infectious smile, and her love for family are just a few of the fond memories we will hold close to our hearts always and forever.
We will miss you dearly.

My condolences to you all.
I have known Laurie for sometime not only through the Wellness but also our paths crossed while she was working at Seven Oaks Hospital. Laurie was very instrumental in helping my family out with the GPAT assessment team for my father-in-law.
Laurie was a beautiful person with a beautiful soul as we had many conversations about family, life and of course the Blue Bombers.
She will be missed I will miss her PT cruiser at the Wellness Center.
Rest in peace Laurie - Jackie Gacek
