It is with profound sadness and loving memories that we announce that our dear Sister and Aunt passed away on July 12, 2019.
Stephanie (Stevie) was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Margaret Borys, brother William (Bill), sister Mary Seman, sister Alyce Borys, brothers-in-law Joe Seman and Bill Kamins, nephew Don Wood, an infant brother John, baby niece Jo-Anne, infant niece, and her beloved husband Tony (Anton) of 34 years.
She is survived and will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her youngest sister Ann, sister-in-law Bernice, nieces and nephews, Donna (Ed), Kerry (Cathy), Tom (JoAnne), Teresa, Rose-Anne, great nieces Melissa (Brent), Wendy (Ryan), great nephew Billy, great-great nephews Jordan, Noah, Angus, Frank.
Stevie was born in Grindrod, B.C. on March 9, 1923, moving to Winnipeg in 1930. She attended Woodsworth School, Brooklands School, Business Administration Course and Accounting. She worked at Canada Safeway, Air Services Branch Canadian Air Force, Medical Services Branch Department of Northern Affairs, from where she took early retirement in 1975.
After their retirement she and her husband Tony travelled extensively. They enjoyed many cruises to destinations in all parts of the world. Their favorite winter sun destination was Hawaii.
We would like to express our appreciation to the 2nd floor staff at St. Joseph's Residence for their loving care and compassion.
A Memorial Service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Isidore Dziadyk, OSBM officiating.
If desired, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
