This tree is to be planted in memory of Levko Baluta. Since the moment I met him he welcomed me into the family with loving arms and kindness. He was soft spoken, always empathetic and a wonderful dad, grandfather and friend. He was also the first man that I ever mowed the lawn with. He has left us all with great memories in our hearts. Looking forward to seeing you again Levko <3 Join in honoring their life - plant a memorial tree

Sianiu, Our most sincere Condolences to you and your entire family at this time of loss and sorrow in losing your dearest husband Lewko and father of your three sons. Lewko and I have been friends for over 68 years, since the time I moved to Winnipeg in 1951. Lewko was also our Best Man when Marta and I got married in 1960. For many years, Plast (Ukrainian Scouting) has been the centre of our interests, our activities and our comradery, where we sure had some good and memorable times over the years.
But at this time I would like to say: Lewku, I regret for not being able to be in Winnipeg at this time, to really squeeze your hand and to give you a big hug, for our final Farewell and Good- by, but I can assure you that you will always remain in our hearts, our thoughts and our prayers.

Leo will always be remembered with love by our family. He was a wonderful & caring father & grandfather. We saw a great deal of pride in his family & we now reminisce about the times we had together....in special family celebrations, around the dinner table, around the card table & listening to his stories about his childhood in Ukraine. We pray for peace now for Oksana, his family & the many loved ones he left behind.
