Obituary of JOSEPH EDWARD BELANGER

Joseph Edward Belanger

November 26, 1947 – September 11, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph, loving husband, father, son and grandfather, who passed away at St. Boniface Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.

He leaves to mourn, his loving wife Cindy of 34 years; daughters LeeAnn (Jamie), Jackie (Steve), Sons; Dean (Cindy) and Jeff. Grandchildren; Rhya, Quinton, and Nathan. Joe also leaves to mourn his brother Rick, sisters; Dawn and Renee, sisters-in-law Betty (Amos) Susie (Cam), and Cheryl as well as many nieces and nephews.

Joe was predeceased by parents; Francis and Margaret Belanger, sister Fran, and brother-in-law Allan.

Joe was born and raised in Transcona, Winnipeg, MB. He enjoyed his life to the fullest and he made many lifelong friends along the way. Spending time with friends and family, gardening, fishing and hunting were his passions.

As per Joe’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Silver Spike Saloon, 202 Bond St, on Friday September 20, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.

Joe you were a one of a kind man who will be greatly missed. We will cherish the memories and hold you in our hearts forever.
