I am deeply saddened by Michael's sudden passing. Michael was a close friend of my sister Ivy during and after our time at the University of Manitoba. From the moment I met him, Michael treated me like his equal and not just his friend's kid sister. I will always remember his gentle kindness, patience, humility and generosity.The world was a much better place with Michael in it! My thoughts and prayers are with now his family. However, let's continue his legacy of humanity and acceptance through our actions and words. Rest in peace sweet Michael.
