Will came to Winnipeg in 1959 with his first job at Birt Saddlery. In 1964 he started his career at Gambles where he met Marg. Over the years Will and Marg golfed, curled and travelled throughout the world together to Australia, South America, Germany, Holland and enjoyed several cruises together. In 1977 they started M&W Footwear in Lac du Bonnet Manitoba where they enjoyed 21 years and made many wonderful friends. Will spent numerous hours volunteering for Lac du Bonnet ambulance service, health board and reading to the kindergarten children at Centennial Elementary school. Will also played Santa Claus for various organizations throughout his years.
In 1991 Will and Marg started an annual migration to Magic Valley Park in Weslaco, TX. Again Will found himself volunteering at the Knapp Hospital and elementary schools in the area. Will always had a love for music and developed his mandolin skills while down in Texas and enjoyed playing music with various bands for many years to come.
Marg, being the love of his life, introduced Will to Grey Street United church where he sang in the choir and the church became a great part of his life.
Will's family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff on the second floor surgery ward of the Concordia Hospital for the wonderful care and comfort they provided to our Dear Will.
