She made a lot of friends during her life, and if you were one of her friends you were truly lucky because she treated you like you were her family.
She will be greatly missed by everyone who she has crossed paths with and everyone has felt the impact this has left.
A true legend left this world and left everyone she has taught along the way to carry on her legacy.

The family would like to thank the supporting staff at St Boniface Hospital for the love and care they gave Joan.

One day at time sweet Jesus
that’s all I am asking of you
just give me the strength to do every day what I have to do
Yesterday’s gone sweet Jesus
and tomorrow may never be nigh
Lord help me today show me the way one day at a time
A Mother holds her child’s hand for just a short time, but holds their heart forever
