Obituary of ANNE KLISKO
ANNE KLISKO (LESCHUK)
MARCH 27, 1918-NOVEMBER 1, 2012
At age 94, Granny decided it was time to keep her date with Gigi, and her family members who have passed on. Oh what a reception! Along with the love of her life, Leo, to greet her were her parents, Maria and Walter, sisters—Nellie (Stan), Ruth (Tis), Joan (George), as well as brothers—Bill, Steve, John, and Les (Dorothy). Also awaiting her were Gigi’s family—Minnie (Hector), Stella (Frank), John (Ann), Alec (Helen), and brother-in-law, Bill. A very special angel welcomed Anne—Patricia Diane---Anne’s infant daughter.
It was hard for Granny to let go of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren---Ken & Karen, grandsons Jonathan & Tim; Brian & Diane, grandchildren Krista & Chris, Matthew & Tammy (Kyia & Tayia), Becky & Mark (Zachary), Sarah & Craig (Ellis). Hard as it was for her to leave, her work on Earth was done. She had shown and had taught her family a special love that only a caring mother and granny can give. A welcoming smile, a helping hand, a great Ukrainian cook, a good neighbor, a good friend, a special aunt, a big heart, and a playful spirit--- just a few of the words to describe our granny!
Special in Granny’s heart has been her only living sibling, Danny, and his caring wife, Laura. These two loving people have always been there for her often taking her out to their favorite eateries, or just for a ride in the country. They will miss her dearly.
Granny, may you enjoy your new home and know that although you are no longer physically with us, your spirit, warmth and love will live in our hearts. Peace be with you and hug Gigi for us.
Love, Kisses, and Hugs from your children, grandchildren, great grand children, extended family and many friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, with Father Isidore Dziadyk, OSBM officiating. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
The family wishes to express gratitude to the homecare staff, and the caring staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their compassion and support. Special Thanks to Dr. Brar.
