Obituary of DANIEL MATTHEW POSTHUMUS
Daniel Matthew Posthumus was born in Virden, Manitoba, on November 2, 1970 and passed away as a result of a stroke on November 9, 2019.
Dan grew up in North Kildonan. As a child, and as an adult, he was always thinking, planning, and then carrying out his plans! At seventeen, Dan left home to work for the C.N. Railway. For many years, he worked for the railway in three provinces and the N.W.T.
His children, Amber and Brent, were most precious and loved by him. Dan has a big heart that was full of love for all his family and friends. Many needy people were recipients of his generous heart. He made time spent with him a fun and memorable occasion. His wit, humour, and honesty were enjoyed by many. Dan enjoyed the outdoors – camping, boating, fishing, quading, skiing. He loved travelling and above all, meeting new friends.
Dan was predeceased by his father Matt, his step-father Cliff, and the love of his life, Charlotte. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Amber, and his son, Brent, his mother Louise, his sister Laura (Darrell), Glen, nephew Brandon, niece Sara, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends.
