Obituary of JOANNA FRANCES SOKAL

JOANNA SOKAL (nee Shefchyk) On December 23, 2019 around 1:00 a.m., Auntie Joanna as she was affectionately known, left to go to her eternal home to spend Christmas with her husband Nick, mother Ann, father John, big brother Walter, nephew Paul and a host of other friends and relatives who got there before her. A deeply religious farm girl with a big heart, Joanna loved her church, her prize winning garden flowers and family events until the onset of dementia and a broken hip landed her in Vista Park Lodge, who took care of her with the utmost compassion and dignity for the past three years. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held in the near future.
