Obituary of JACK BADIUK
JACK BADIUK
Jack Badiuk, age 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg.
He is much loved and will be deeply missed by his son Ted Badiuk (partner Jennifer Sukaylo), his brother Dennis (wife Sonia), sisters Joyce and Jeanne (partner John), sister-in-law and brother-in-law Sophie and Lanard Zushman, and brother-in-law Johnny Mydaniuk, along with many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Nettie (nee Mydaniuk), father William Kozma Badiuk, mother Mary (nee Denischuk), brother Bill, and sisters Olga and Doreen.
Jack was a loving and devoted husband and father, and was always willing to do whatever it took to take care of and support his family. In between working as a head custodian for the Winnipeg School Division, he loved to spend his time gardening, working in the garage, talking about cars with his son, going out for coffee with his “coffee buddies”, and watching Polklarama on television.
He is very much loved by all and will be greatly missed. Just like one of his favorite Ukrainian expressions, “Zha Vdoma”, he is home now. Vichnaya Pamyat!
