Obituary of OLGA WALKER
OLGA WALKER (KRYZANOWSKI)
July 22, 1935- March 24, 2020
It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my mother Olga Walker. She passed peacefully March 24th at Fred Douglas Lodge at the age of 84.
Mom was predeceased by her parents Carl and Nettie Kryzanowski, husband John Walker, brothers Nick Kryzanowski and Wally Kryzanowski, step sisters Frances Marchak, Nellie Danwich; step brothers Tony Dziadek and Martin Dziadek; also by many of her dearest friends, whom she missed dearly.
Mom grew up in Meleb, Manitoba and had many fond memories of growing up on the farm as do I, her son Robert. Mom moved to Winnipeg and started her working career at Safeway and moved on to many other jobs including Paulin Chambers (I remember that job very well as she would bring me home a small bag of candy every day) she also worked at Melrose Coffee for many years, then moved on to working in meat delis including M&S Meats and Food Fare before she retired.
She will be sadly missed by everyone that knew her including nieces, nephews, friends, and mostly by her only son Robert.
Mom will be laid to rest Wednesday, April 1st at 1:00 p.m. at Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery, Meleb, Manitoba.
Due to the COVID-19 virus, a celebration of Olga’s Life will be held at a later date.
