Obituary of VICTORINO MORAIS BRAGA
VICTORINO BRAGA
Peacefully on April 18, 2020, after a brief illness and battle with dementia, Victorino Braga, age 86, passed away at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home.
Victorino is survived by daughters Maria (Joe) Ferris and Judy-Zulmira (Jaime) Figueiredo; grandchildren Steven (Lindsay), Lisa (Neil), Michelle (Steve), Tara (Shane); great-grandchildren Brandon, Summer, Joshua, Madeline, Mateo, Hugo, Tyson, Andre; step granddaughter Jenn (Devon) and children Aiden and Lena. Also left to mourn him is his sister Virginia Cabral and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Virginia, his parents and numerous brothers and sisters.
Victorino was born on January 8, 1934 in Santa Maria, Azores, Portugal. He immigrated to Canada in 1963 and his family followed two years later.
Victorino loved to keep a huge garden but his biggest joy was his faith and spending time with his family.
The family would like to thank our relatives for their visits and also to thank the staff at Deer Lodge 93 West) and St. Joseph’s Nursing Home (2nd floor) for their care and compassion.
