You can shed tears that she is gone or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she’ll come back or you can open your eyes and see all she’s left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her or you can be full of the love you shared.
A candle for your burning lite! Your brother, Garry

My deepest sympathies to the Bridgemann family. Sandra will be dearly missed. I have so many fond memories of Sandra, having the privilege of working with her at Wawanesa, she was a mentor to me as I was new to Wawanesa. She was always so patient, kind, supportive of me, and our entire team. She was very intelligent, the most organized person I had ever met. She would always surprise us with little gifts and treats on our desks regularly. Sandra was a very selfless person, giving to one and all. She always made time to chat, her friendly smile was always there to welcome you. We had many things in common, crafting, gardening, reading, so many things to talk about. Thank you Sandra for always being a good friend. I will miss you.....See you again.

Don, Mary, Garry, and Donna,
Sending my heartfelt sympathies to you and your families. I have so many memories of Sandra from my years growing up in River Heights. The Killbery kids and I walked to and from school together for at least 6 years, played in each other's backyards and on the front street, and shared many fun times as we grew. I recall Sandra always having a smile on her face, and she was always up for any adventure the neighborhood kids had planned. We took many bicycle tours of our extended neighborhood, even venturing as far as the Zoo on occasion!
It was good to be "with" all of you for the service, even from my home in Tennessee. Wishing you all peace, comfort and love,
Myra Banman Wynne

Wayne, Phillip and all the family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
Sandra was a wonderful friend that had a heart of gold and would do anything for you, even if it was to just listen. I will miss our 'over the fence' chats that, during the summer, were almost daily. You always had a smile to go with your incredibly positive outlook on everything. Mr. T will miss you and all the treats you shared with him. Most of all I will miss our wine evenings on the deck just chatting about anything and everything.
Rest in peace my beautiful friend.

Since Wayne called on Tuesday with news of Sandra’s passing I have been filled with sadness and a sense of incredible loss. But also filled with incredible memories.
I first met Sandra over 20 years ago when Wayne brought her along to a group dinner on English Bay in Vancouver. She was cheerful, friendly, bubbly, inquisitive, laughing and smiling. And Wayne was her man. We had a great evening and the 3 of us became fast friends. Never lived in the same city or province but always stayed in touch and got together whenever we could. Sandra never lost her smile or laugh. Often when I called Wayne Sandra would pick up and we would chat for a long time before relinquishing the phone. Sometimes she would get Wayne on the line right away so the two of them could tell me about something they had experienced. She talked with pride of the accomplishments of Wayne, Philip and herself. She talked about their vacations together with descriptions that almost feel like you had gone with them. She talked about their families and often I felt I knew them all. You could hear her smile over the phone. So many memories. So many memories.
Rest in peace my friend

God’s Garden
By Melissa Shreve
God looked around his garden and found an empty place
He then looked down upon the Earth and saw your tired face
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest
With the help of his angels they flew you to your heavenly place
Gods garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best
He knew you were suffering, he knew you were in pain
He knew that you would never get well on Earth again
He saw the road was getting rough and the hills too hard to climb
He closed your weary eyelids and whispered “Peace be Thine”
It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn’t go alone
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.

My sincere condolences to Wayne and Phillip and the rest of Sandra's family. Although I only knew Sandra for a few years, we shared lots of memories as we scrapbooked together. She loved to create beautiful cards and to work on albums of her precious family memories. The last album that she worked on at my house was her anniversary river cruise to Europe with Wayne. She spoke often of the wonderful time that they had on this special trip. Sandra loved life and her family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Wayne and Phillip during this very difficult time. I pray that the albums she created with such love will be an everlasting remembrance of how much she loved you both.

I Never Saw Your Wings
By an Unknown Author
How is it that I never saw your wings
when you were here with me?
When you closed your eyes and soared
to the Heavens I could hear the
faint flutter of you wings as you left.
Your body no longer on this side
Your spirit here eternally I see your halo shine.
I close my eyes and see the multi-coloured wings
surround me in my saddest moments and my happiest times.
Sister my angel God has given you your assignment
always my sister forever my angel.
You fly into my dreams and when I am asleep
I feel your wings brush against my face wiping away
the tears I shed since I can no longer hold
you in my arms but in my heart.
You earned those wings dear sister
and you will always be my angel eternal.

First off all our deepest condolences to Wayne and Philip and extended family. Memories where do I start. It started with babysitting Philip from grade 2 - gr. 8th. Sandra would always drop him off every morning and pick him up after work and we would chat about the day. She was always friendly, caring and loving. Another thing we had in common was scrapbooking. We did that for years together. She was very good at it, very creative and organized, great memories shared, and I could say so much more the list is long. She’ll be forever a good friend to me in my memories. Rest in Peace Sandra. With love from Trudy Wiebe (Rudi and family)
