Obituary of Agathe Marie Marion
Mom and Dad were married in St. Boniface on April 28, 1951. Agathe was a devout Catholic and with her cherished husband Philibert, raised their children to also have a deep faith in God. Before meeting her husband, Agathe worked at the St. Boniface Hospital as a baker and made the best pineapple cheesecake and tourtière. She enjoyed working as supervisor of the cleaning staff at the Medical Arts Building until her retirement. Mom was a dedicated wife and mother who delighted in spending time with her family and especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also treasured her time with family and friends camping in many Manitoba campgrounds or at the cottage in St. Malo. She also enjoyed travels with Dad to various places such as Hawaii, Germany, Mexico, to name a few. Upon retirement, their annual winter retreat was in Mesa, Arizona.
A funeral mass to honour Mom’s life will take place at a later date. In accordance with our mother’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Agathe's memory may be made to L'Arche Winnipeg, 118 Regent Ave. East, Wpg. MB R2C 0C1 or website: larchewinnipeg.org where our dearest sister, Juliette, resides.
The family cordially invites you to share your memories of Mom and condolences at www.cropo.com.
