Obituary of NATALIE ANNA KURDYDYK
NATALIE ANNA KURDYDYK
Natalie (Cis) passed away peacefully on May 14, 2020 at Kildonan Personal Care Centre at the age of 94. Natalie was born in Montreal, the fourth child of George and Anna. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings Dan, Hope, Mary, Emil, Ollie and Greg. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews Carole, Linda, Debbie, Doug, Dean, Greg, Brent, Steven, John, and their families, sister-in-law Murt, her cousins, close friends Agnes and Diana, and her guardian angel, Lorna.
Natalie worked for many years at Eaton’s, first in the mail order and then as a payroll clerk. After obtaining her B.A. from the U. of W., she took a position with Manitoba Family Services until her retirement. She was devoted to her family and friends and never hesitated to help anyone. Cis was the family videographer and could be found behind her 35mm movie camera and bright lights at every family event. Natalie was an enthusiastic knitter making sweaters, mitts, baby sets and blankets for friends and family. She also enjoyed music, cheering for the Blue Jays and travelling, especially to the Rockies. Auntie Cis took great pleasure in babysitting her nieces, nephews, their children and pets (especially Phantom). She was well-known for her snow shovelling and perogy making skills.
Thank you to all the second floor staff at Kildonan for their care and compassion.
A celebration of Cis’s life will be held at a later date.
