Obituary of FREDRICK THOMAS BUTCHER

FREDRICK THOMAS BUTCHER Our brother and uncle, Fred passed on June 25, 2020 at the age of 64. Predeceased by our parents William & Elizabeth (Bill & Liz) Butcher, and survived by his four sisters, Cora, Darlene (Ron), Karen, Lisa (Dennis). Nephews and nieces Brett, Rachel, Jason, Justice (Chrissie), Jonathon, Caroline and Brianna, as well as great-nephew Jeremiah and great-niece Jacelyn, as well as dear cousins and friends. Before cancer slowed him down, Fred was a welder for Motor Coach Industries, and was a handy person who could fix anything that was fixable. Fred was someone you could always count on for family events and he never forgot a birthday and could always find the funniest card. He enjoyed country living and was able to do so until the last few years. He liked classic rock and hard rock music, wrestling and was interested in sasquatches, and liked playing the lottery. We’ll miss his ‘off the wall’ sense of humour and cribbage games etc. Rest in peace, brother - you’re as free as a bird, now. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 7th, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
