Obituary of Waclaw Mikijaniec

WACLAW MIKIJANIEC Sadly, Waclaw passed away on July 9 2020. He will be dearly missed by his cherished daughter Lily and family in Poland and Belarus. He was predeceased by his parents, 3 sisters and his wife Stanislawa. Despite having spent his formative years away from his family in forced labour in Germany during World War II, he enjoyed life and the gifts it gave him. He was a dedicated, disciplined and conscientious man. He was a loving husband and father. As an extraordinary gardener, he knew the importance of patience and nurturing. Even in his final days, he had a natural curiosity and was fiercely independent. A thank-you is extended to Donwood Manor for the compassionate care he received while he was there. A private funeral has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in the memory of Waclaw can be made to a charity of your choice. "Wieczny odpoczynek racz jego dac Panie"
