This last visit John and I shared with you was such a beautiful day. When we arrived you were sitting outside under a tree and enjoying the petting Zoo that was there. When you looked up and saw your sons face the excitement on your face melted my heart. We spent the next few hours cracking jokes and enjoying all the sweet pets. I remember how amazing and healthy you looked sporting your new wheelchair.. This brought us such joy to know you we're happy and enjoying life. John and I will always carry you in our hearts. He has defiantly taken on your sense of humor. Love you Gordon xox

We have many memories of Gord. Mostly at Victoria Beach and at many family dinner parties. He has been a good father to Katie and John. It has been a long a difficult journey at Meadowwood, and now it is time to "Rest in Peace!"

We remember attending your wedding and thinking that Gord was a powerful, strong man. Later, we saw what a proud father he was. Be free, Gord.

I have many happpy memories of Gord with our family - like walking down the hospital hall to the nursery the day John was born, grinning like a cheshire cat at his new baby boy. Trudy and Gord came over to mom and dad's the day after the snow storm, Gord pulling John on the sleigh, and Trudy bundling Katie in a snuggli, walking the mile through the snow. He was always welcoming of guests to his home, and feeding everyone with his famous beef stroganoff. He was always a loving and proud papa. He will be missed.
