Obituary of MARION ROBERTSON
Marion Robertson
November 3 1929 - August 31 2020
Marion passed away peacefully with her best friend Dodie holding her hand. She was predeceased by her husband David Robertson, and close friend Lars Thomsen; parents Michael & Lena Prodaniuk, brothers William, John, Peter, Michael and sisters-in-law; and twin nephews Pete & Paul Prodaniuk.
Marion was a very active member of West Kildonan Legion #30, and the Ladies Auxiliary. She was also very involved with Kildonan United Church and the Ladies Unit 7.
She is survived by long-time friend Doreen (Dodie) Sims, sadly and dearly missed by niece Gaylene Sianchuk, husband Tony and children Jackie, Jason and families. Also, niece Kathleen Manness and family; many nephews, Fred, Andy, Larry, Lyle, Brian, Greg and families; and sister-in-law Kathy Prodaniuk. She will lovingly be remembered by Step-Daughter Pat (Patsy) & George Cooke of Surrey B.C.
There will be a private family interment at the St. Vital Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date due to Covid-19.
Donations can be made to Kildonan United Church 187 Kilbride Avenue, or a charity of your choice.
