Obituary of MARIA BOROSIUK
MARIA BOROSIUK
Peacefully on Monday, November 26, 2012 after a lengthy illness, Maria was called to be with our Lord.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Peter in 1999. Maria will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her son Mark; her brother Boleslaw in Poland as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Poland.
Maria was born on April 4, 1927 in Przemysl, Poland. She immigrated to Canada in 1962, was married on April 15, 1963 and started her family.
Maria loved her gardening, cooking, and baking. She always had an open door for friends and family. She was a member of Blessed Virgin Mary Parish.
Prayers will be said on Friday, November 30, at 7:00 p.m. at Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 965 Boyd Avenue. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, December 1, at 10:30 a.m. also at the Church. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
A special thank you to Holy Family Home staff and volunteers.
