Obituary of SERAFINA JESUS MELO

SERAFINA MELO June 8, 1930 – November 01, 2020 It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Serafina Melo at the age of 90 years old in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Serafina was predeceased by her husband Antonio Rocha and her daughter Valdomira Machado. Left to mourn her are Maria Dos Anjos, Margarida, Jose (Goretti), Antonio (Maria), Roberto (Margret), Graca (David), Mario (Sandra) as well as 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Serafina was born on June 8th, 1930 in San Miguel Azores, Portugal. She immigrated to Canada in 1991 to be with her beloved children. She spent many years living in Lar Santa Isabel, where she spent time with her friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Maples Personal Care Home where she spent the last 6 years of her life, as well as the doctors, nurses and staff at the Grace Hospital.
