Uncle Tyrell, on behalf of Suzanna Dong and family, please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of Doreen. You both are like family to us and we'll always remember the friendship, dinners, trips to the cabin. We've made a donation in her memory with Deer Lodge.

My friendship with Doreen started with my Aunt, Pamela Lawless, here in Winnipeg. We had a lot in common ie careers - banking - she with the Bank of Montreal and I with the Royal Bank. We both shared the love of travel and while I have been to many places around the world, Doreen had me outpaced in air miles not to mention her lovely photos of every place that she visited. We also shared similar views on culinary arts, she being from Sri Lanka and I from India. She loved her church and all its members and we had some lovely times at the Fall Suppers and Concerts performed at Holy Trinity Anglican Church. She was a real dear friend and I miss her very much. She never got to meet our beautiful grandsons, but I know she sees them. Doreen, my love, you rest peacefully and I will see you once again when it’s my time to exit this planet. God Bless and Keep You Sweetheart.
